Branden was a 3 year varsity player for the Caribou Vikings. Graduating in 2011, his team played well enough that year to make it to the Maine State Tournament. Only to face a very tough Camden Hills team in the first round. After high school injuries kept him sidelined for a couple years. This turned  his focus from achieving his dreams to helping those around him achieve theirs instead!

When he wasn't playing AYBL in middle school he was always there helping out. Whether it was keeping book, running the clock, or a referee, he learned all aspects of the game. Volunteering each year taught him a lot about the game of basketball, thanks to some of the great coaches in that league. He now coaches the 3rd/4th grade team for Caribou, and can't wait to see what this new group of youth can achieve for AROOSTOOK COUNTY HOOPS!
